What inspired you to pursue a career in IT?

It’s actually just happenstance that I embarked on a career in Tech, which hopefully is a signal to others that our career paths need not be linear.

What is the most challenging part about being a woman in IT?

IIt’s the unconscious bias, and how we overcome perceptions across all of our underrepresented groups.

What is the most rewarding part about being a woman in a leadership role?

Being a mentor and an advocate for women in our industry.

Why is diversity in business important to you?

The most valuable asset of any business is our people. A diverse workforce brings about better business outcomes and, more importantly, a more inclusive culture where all employees can thrive.

What advice would you give an aspiring female IT leader?

Your path may not always be straightforward, and that’s okay. There are opportunities in every step of the journey.
