As we continue to celebrate Women's History Month, I want to spotlight a specific organization that has significantly impacted my growth in technology. Joining CRN's Women of the Channel (WOTC) about four years ago was a pivotal moment for me. I was seeking a safe space to share my thoughts, and the welcoming, supportive community I found there was exactly what I needed. Their advice and openness helped me grow professionally and personally.
As my career and the business expanded, so did my need for support. I discovered additional resources within the CRN's Women of the Channel Leadership Network, which offered even more encouragement and a 'friend-DA' atmosphere—ensuring a secure environment for sharing and collaboration.
After benefiting from several Women of the Channel East events, I felt compelled to give back. Joining their Advisory Board has been an honor, allowing me to contribute to the planning of future events and share my insights on enhancing our collective experience each year.
I strongly encourage others to seek out and engage with networks that foster growth and offer a platform for giving back. Building and nurturing your professional network is invaluable, and paying it forward enriches our community and empowers us all.
