### What inspired you to pursue a career in IT?

My passion is being a lifelong learner and technology supports my desire for continuous learning.

 

### What is the most challenging part about being a woman in IT?

IT employees are mostly men at higher levels in the organization. So being the only woman at the table can be challenging.

 

### What is the most rewarding part about being a woman in a leadership role?

The ability to work with a team and provide value to the organization. Leading a team provides the opportunity to develop your team through coaching and mentoring.

 

### Why is diversity in business important to you?

Diversity brings new thoughts and ideas to the company.

 

### What advice would you give an aspiring female IT leader?

Be willing to change course as technology is not a straight route. Be authentic and never change who you are.
