What inspired you to pursue a career in IT?

My passion is being a lifelong learner and technology supports my desire for continuous learning.

What is the most challenging part about being a woman in IT?

IT employees are mostly men at higher levels in the organization. So being the only woman at the table can be challenging.

What is the most rewarding part about being a woman in a leadership role?

The ability to work with a team and provide value to the organization. Leading a team provides the opportunity to develop your team through coaching and mentoring.

Why is diversity in business important to you?

Diversity brings new thoughts and ideas to the company.

What advice would you give an aspiring female IT leader?

Be willing to change course as technology is not a straight route. Be authentic and never change who you are.
